Herman raised a reported $9+ million since the close of the third quarter (and, that after the harassment thing); that puts him in Perry’s class, moneywise (he had 5+ before). However, I put Herman’s gaffe worse than Perry’s (though Perry’s was at a formal national debate and Herman’s was at a hick-town newspaper, it still made the wires). Herman looked not simply stumped with a brain-fart, but confused about a current major international issue and about the state-wide (but national) union issue. He also must not have understood that you do not do on-camera interviews with a rabid Lefty newspaper – there I blame Mark Block! BTW, all my politically involved friends around here have been keeping my BlackBerry buzzing; they want Block’s...

We have a typical recession and then elect an anti-business president. How was that gonna work? We don’t have a jobs problem, we have an economic problem; no jobs are a symptom of a sick economy. Only a healthy free-market will fix the economy and Obama is against free-markets in favor of government. Nothing will change until he’s out of office.

Time enough to know the real Obama

Though the Progressives remain in extreme denial, the truth is that the November bloodbath will be all about Obama. Sure we’ll use the opportunity to boot a few RINOs out, but the primary focus is Obama, period. I simply wonder how he will spin the massive defeat come November. It’s pretty hard to blame Bush as the Left went overboard on that one and now even Bush’s ratings are ahead of Obama’s in many districts. The worst part for Obama is not that the majority have lost confidence in him (they have); it’s that he has little (if any) chance for a come-back (like Clinton did) because the majority of Americans no longer trust him and doubt his honesty.

Receptionists are trained to ID nut-cases. Now, I’m not saying that you are one; however, maybe you might try to be a bit more civil when you call a congressman’s office. I happen to know Paul and he’s one of the most accessible congressmen in the House. The fact that you couldn’t even get transferred to a staffer tells me something was wrong with your message (or how you presented it). Try again.

Maybe he's already neutered.
