I think it started with our allowing them to pass laws on us while exempting themselves, next was presidential pardons not for misscariages of justice as intended but for political favors. Now we have them writeing the laws around not only them but also thier friends. If you think about it it's allot like 16th century England, the royality, the aristocrats, and then comes us lowly serfs.

Instead of the millions we spend on crazy studies like how much do Chinese prostetutes drink and the myrid of others you read about, how about a study on how to get American voters more informed about the candidates and thier history. Of course they won't do that because like McCain and Obama they don't want us to look at what they have done, but what they are promising now.

Maybe, just maybe if the fourth estate were doing thier job things would get better. If you don't know it's broke no one bothers to try to fix it. Then again maybe it's us, the headline grabbed me and when I got to the part where it was blacks beating up on whites, it was like oh so whats new.

First I was hopeing that right after inauguration McCain would step down for health reasons leaving us with Paulin. I believe she would not have bought into the to big to fail crap. All these businesses would have gone into bankruptcy and reorganization getting rid of the unprofitible parts, such as multi million dollar bonusses for those that brought the companies to this point in the first place. We would have found it hurt worse but not for nearly as long. Economists learned this after the first great depression but unfortunately the government did not.
