I taught my sons that poverty has nothing to do with money. Poverty begins in the heart of a person. If one is not taught values and morality then what is within that individual begins to show without. Human beings have to be taught to respect the property of others. We have to be taught to value life. We have to be taught to respond positively to life's problems. Good people don't "just happen". I lived in Tokyo for a year. I marveled at how this culture places great value on respectful behavior. I grew up in the 1950's when our own culture seemed to value respectful behavior much more than it does now. America has been on the slippery slope of moral decline for many years. It all begins with the core of a society which is the family....

If the Sierra Club is so concerned about the right of all creatures to exist, why are they not supporting the life of human beings being murdered every day in their mothers’ wombs? Somehow, in the greenies’ minds, you and I do not quite measure up to the value of the owls, rats and louseworts. Ahh, such hypocrisy.
