The Truth About Hate Crimes

Judy1748 Wrote: Jul 21, 2009 12:08 PM
This 'hate crimes' legislation has nothing to do with 'crime.' There are laws everywhere protecting everyone from every sort of crime -- It has everything to do with controlling people and forcing the thought police's views on others.
My daughter has heart problems. We needed to take her asap to have tests by a cardiologist so our family physician recommended a cardiac pediatrician in Greensboro, NC or one with the University of Virginia Hospital. We took chose NC because they could see her sooner and they also happened to be much closer to our home. Our insurance won't pay any money on this bill which totalled over $2400. because we went out of our network here in Va. That's the kind of mess that should be fixed with our insurance companies -- especially since I learned UVA would have charged much more for the same tests and evaluations. So not only would I have saved the insurance company money (as well as our family in co-payments) but, I got my child seen...

The Pay Czar's Power Grab

Thank you, Michelle, for excellent investigation and reporting on the issues. I agree with your view 100%. But here's a thought - if the president wants to invade anyone's privacy and manage their income and/or limit their pay -- maybe he should start with Hollywood, then he could invade sports. Both have become so ridiculously expensive the average family with children can't afford much if any of either, yet they continue to make outrageous salaries while our troops and law enforcement officers put their lives on the line for us every single day and are given little reward (and yet plenty of publicity when a few bad eggs show their ungle heads). If he wants to balance out anything he deems unfair --- that's the place he should be...

Thank you George Will for the article.

To Binc in Il. - I to am a woman and personally aware that women have been held back throughout history. I also struggle with dyslexia and can appreciate the effort one of the white guys put in to study for the test -- and pass it. Performance must be rewarded. If I had failed the test, I would say the men who passed it deserved the position and whatever perks come with it and I did not. I can't imagine whining about it, suing over it, or ducking under Al Sharpton's or Jesse Jackson's skirts because I didn't measure up. I can't imagine how stupid one would have to be to think they needed a 'special' boost because they didn't have what it takes to pass a test. I can't imagine...

I love your articles, Ann Coulter. Keep 'em coming and don't believe a word of any critic's blather that you are too harsh and blunt. If they can bring citizens out of their thoughtless ABC,NBC,CBS-induced coma and see where this president is taking us --- it will be worth it.

A Shocking Display of Rudeness

Thank you, Rebecca Hagelin, for your article on Barbara Boxer's 'shocking display of rudeness'. You hit every point right on. I am a home school mother and I have recently used -the Boxer - as an example to my daughters of rudeness unbecoming a woman, and how in one thoughtless moment an ignorant human being can ruin civil discourse and unfairly deminish the dignity another person deserves. When they realized the military protocol the officer was using in speaking to her as "Ma'am," they too felt insulted for this officer.

Keep your articles coming. Perhaps we will raise another generation that is not so selfish and self-serving as this one.
