For those who wish to preserve the institution of marriage as strictly a union between one man and one woman, you have a great chance today to do more than talk about it. So far, traditional marriage has won in all 32 state referendums defining marriage. On November 6, four states have votes on the definition of marriage. The National Organization for Marriage is the lead national organization supporting marriage. They have a matching grant of $1 million dollars to support the fight for marriage by buying advertising in those states. Each contribution will be tripled, i.e. a donation of $10 will result in a contribution of $30.00 to support marriage. In April 2003, Senator Rick Santorum stated that, “If the Supreme Court says that you have the right to consensual [gay] sex within your home, then you have the right to bigamy, you have the right to polygamy, you have the right to incest, you have the right to adultery.
