Are Spending Cuts Good Politics?

Mr. Chris Edwards, please Google (list of government agencies) read them all from A - Z and be surprised to read some you never heard off. The code of politics is very strong and if America thinks they are represented let them believe it along with the tooth fairy. Case in point, Dept. of Energy, thirty years old, 16,000 federal employees not doing their job with a budget last year of 23.3 billion and more this year. And that is just one.

Also look at Head Start = 180 billion over the years.

Head Start SOUNDS like a good idea and a good program, but a recent long term HHS study shows that it DOESN'T WORK."

So it should be eliminated, right? What would you bet that some goofy rationale for continuing will induce Congress to keep funding it? I'd bet that's what will happen. A program that clearly does not work will continue indefinitely.
