You are much kinder than I, and I applaud you for it.

Thank you for expressing gentle, compassionate sentiments.

Cut him all the slack you want, and do all of the remote Dx you can. All I know is what he said. In a 2006 interview I just saw he claimed he NEVER bleached his skin. That the concept was ridiculous. He said he was proud to be a black man during that interview. If lupus was his issue, why didn't he say so? Altho, in fairness, I do remember speculation that he had some sort of skin issue that discolors skin, but he didn't mention that in the interview. Not a word. Had he, he would have come off a lot more credible and a lot less creepy. Well, the 'sharing your bed is the most loving thing you can do' thing was pretty creepy, too, especially when talking about little boys...

You're reaching...really reaching. I stick with...

WE didn't destroy the guy. HE destroyed himself, and all of you 'great fans' that 'he loved so much' destroyed him, even after his aquittal.

Where were all of these people, crying and mourning and grieving so publicly, when he was in exile from all of you after his aquittal? He was not guilty, but you shunned him still. Now, all of the sudden, he's like this AA icon that united the masses? Puhleeease. He bleached his skin, straighted his hair and cut his nose off to spite his face -- literally. THAT'S an African American icon? He arranged to 'father' white kids - is that AA iconic too? He slept with boys in his bed and thought nothing of it. The biggest indicator is the question that you will not even want to answer: ...

...Honestly, I don't think you are comparing apples with apples here. Michael Jackson was a talented entertainer with some gargantuan skeletons in and out of his closet/bedroom. I see him as a study in complete self indulgence, much like Elvis and Anna Nicole Smith, to name a few.

Natalie Holloway however COULD have been someone 'we know', and people were looking for her. And logically, news time has to be filled with something. I would much rather see investigative coverage on 20 'someones we don't know' than on one single pitiful man whose life has already been dissected and displayed and dissected and displayed again...and again.
You said it right on.

I've seen your posts on other articles as well, and so far, you really have no basis to build any real argument against Palin. But then, that's the pattern for those who hate her so. They never can cite real issues, only persona. I think one real reason is that she epitomizes all Obama stands against. Since the first day she was chosen as VP candidate, she was pitted---not against Blabbermouth Biden---but against Obama himself. THAT'S what scares the fire out of the left. That, and she is a product of her convictions, unlike Obama who denied his muslim roots until it became convenient in Cairo a few weeks ago.

"Dept of Law"? That's all you've got?

You are not behaving intelligently enough to be called a DOLT. End...

Health Care Reform: A Better Plan

Sol invictus is a ninny of the blindest, most foolish types.

First, we ARE offering alternatives. Why won't Obama touch tort reform? Medical malpractice insurance and payoffs are a huge burden on society as a whole. How many OB/GYNs have quit practice altogether because of this very thing?

Secondly, we are NOT running scared; but the liberal congress sure is. That's why the terms "swastika" and "lynching" are being used as if they are real parts of the equation, when they are not. That's why the clowns are bowing out of the Town Hall setting; they are ignoring the people and the people are getting angrier and shouting louder to be heard; WE WILL NOT BE IGNORED AND WE WILL NOT GO AWAY. This is OUR country and these...

PBS Wages War On Pro-Lifers

that PBS uses MY money to exist; but will not air ALL sides of the issue.

And Jim of Reply #3, if you were right (and you aren't) about the religious right, Tiller would have been dead a loooong time ago. Sorry, but just like the Old Testament murderess Jezebel, whose death and pitiless post mortem decay Elijah (or was it Elisha?) prophesied with unusual graphic clarity, it is difficult to mourn him. Just like the murderer Hitler; it was/is difficult to mourn his passing. Did we want any of them to die? No; but their Creator did. Much better to give my heart to mourning the innocents that were slaughtered at the hands of the murderers.

Does that make me a terrorist? No. It makes me a candid observer. The truth is...
