Our Smartest President?

Smartest? There exists insufficient evidence to warrant posing the question. On the other hand, an argument could be made that with the possible exceptions of Washington and Lincoln, he may be the most committed to his ideology.

Your ignorant aspersions aside, true, nearly unfettered capitalism has not been practiced in the United States in almost a century. A capitalist starts with an idea and produces a product or service having sufficient value that others are willing to part with their resources in exchange for it. Everyone benefits. Liberals, progressives, socialists, with envy and malice seek to legalize theft. There are plenty of Republicans in the latter group, though the Dems have made it an art form.
Republicans - always on defense. Why? Because they are AFRAID they will offend, lose a vote, mis-speak, fall short of expectations, etc. And, they succeed in achieving all of their feared goals. Stand for what is right (Constitutional, proven to work, truly beneficial) instead of what is expedient (pandering to garner votes). Call the democrats liars - they are - and detail the lies. Republicans, "the party of the rich" - yes, we stand for principles that when applied will bring riches; democrats want to keep you in subjection. It is a target rich environment.

Don't Blame Romney

Don't blame Romney??? It was his campaign. Whatever else you may say about him, he did not do what was needed to win.
Yes, fight the lame ducks. Then we must somehow stop the rinos and apply whatever pressure we can to help President Romney resist the "W" insanity - believing the dems can be loved into doing what is right, with love being defined as sacrificing friends and principles. The work is far from over, but I will celebrate heartily on Wednesday.
I lived in West Virginia for nearly a decade and keenly observed the loyal union democrats. The coal industry is dying and taking with it those who, until very recently, supported and defended enthusiastically the democrat ticket no matter the names it carried. Their leaders chose ideology over the welfare of countless committed supporters. To those die hard constituencies who persist in their support of Obama: What will happen when Obama's ideolgy conflicts with your welfare?
Is that not the essence of a perversion, a claim that one is equal to or better than another? "We have worthy goals too," is the cry of those seeking to claim that to which they have no right. It was true when Ishmael sought to take that which was promised to Isaac; it is true today when respect, reverence, and worship that should be rightfully directed to God, the creator of heaven and earth, the Father of Jesus Christ to anything else, including one's own reflection.
The vast potential lantent in the minds of America's youth is being squandered by liberal policy (implemented by D's and R's). Several viable solutions are linked above. To get there will require that the few of us willing, as were our forefathers, to pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor to liberty for all, do so without reservation. We must defeat those who do otherwise then root out the ideology that they promote. When some among us swerve due to pressure or promise of personal gain, we must not be discouraged. We lose only if we quit.
