MSNBC Host: If Adam Lanza Killed Black Kids We Probably Wouldn’t Be Talking About Guns

Touré is a racist ashat.

He is indeed a racist but he's also apparently correct in his assertion that going into a black school and killing kids wouldn't get any notice. Chicago has a horrible record of gun violence, the victims are predominantly black. Obama has said nothing. No legislation was ever crafted to try to stop the violence in Chicago. No executive orders were ever signed to move any anti-violence measures because Congress wouldn't move fast enough. I'd say Touré hit the nail on the head.

But in the rare instance of white on black violence, all hell would break loose. He's right, it would not be about guns, but about racism.

That one is easy to answer, and it's right in your post .... "No legislation was ever crafted to try to stop the violence in Chicago. No executive orders were ever signed.....". See where you look for the answers? See how you are being played right into the thinking Obama and Rham want? They want you folks to look to THEM and more LAWS for the answer. There are already enough laws on the books to "prevent" such violence. Laws do nothing for a criminal. Just look at our prisons! The problem lies in the hearts and minds of the folks doing the crime. You have to use the same zero-tolerance for gun abusers as you do for the drunk driver. Same issue, differnt "solutions" by liberals.

That MSNBC host would be the one and only Touré who was responding to a section in Wayne LaPierre’s recent article on The Daily Caller. The NRA chief was discussing the various reasons law-abiding citizens need a firearm, including after a natural disaster.

“After Hurricane Sandy, we saw the hellish world that the gun prohibitionists see as their utopia. Looters ran wild in south Brooklyn. There was no food, water or electricity. And if you wanted to walk several miles to get supplies, you better get back before dark, or you might not get home at all.”
