I'm slowly coming around to realizing that the nation is lost short some major incident or God intervening to lead a spiritual and moral awakening. With that said, let them have it. Those of us with Wisdom from God will be alright and not suffer want as God promises to meet our needs. I have no doubt that God will bring the consequences down on all those that call evil good and good evil. But in case they accelerate towards socialism and then communism do be prepared to protect your treasure and escape before they prevent you from doing so. has a list of countries that are more economically free then we are that would make a great home. I won't stick around and let them make me a slave taking most of my income.

These are days of hindsight and second-guessing for Republicans, which is human nature after a trauma like this election loss.

There are million “why” theories out there, from the Hurricane Sandy effect to pernicious media bias. Wringing our hands over those factors gets us nowhere.

We can’t stop hurricanes, and media bias is always there. Reagan and Bush 43 won twice against waves of poisonous bias, so that is not an insurmountable obstacle.

What Republicans need is a slate of candidates that can energize the base while expanding the appeal of a conservative message.
