How the H_ll are we supposed to judge this. I am a lucky man, I have friends that are gay, I have friends that have a different skin color than mine, I even have a close friend that is a red neck. (Yes, the red neck is probably a bigot - that is just something that, no matter what he believes, he just does not focus on. We have never discussed race or gays.) If you don't like red necks, don't watch shows about red necks. Don't read interviews given by red necks. If you don't like gays, or people that have a different skin color different than yours, chose what you read and watch carefully. There is plenty of "media" out there to support any view.. OR!!!! This is just MASSIVE PRESS COVERAGE meant to distract us from a bad economy and the complete and total failure of Obamacare. (I chose OR...... Number 2)
You have set them all on fire They think they've found the new Messiah And they'll hurt you when they find they're wrong Old lyrics from Jesus Christ Superstar.......

Eventually, almost every town, city, county and state government will reach the point where there will be only two choices, either: 1) Cut the pensions of current and future public employee retirees. 2) Fire all current public employees. That is just how the math works. It also explains why Democrats, in general, and "progressives", in particular, HATE MATH! This story is just barely getting started.

The Decline of College

A BA degree, 20 to 30 years ago, meant that the degree holder, at least, had a balanced view/knowledge of history, language, and philosophy. A BA degree today, means the degree holder spent four years of partying while taking gender/gay/minority studies, cinema/pornography studies, and art/music appreciation. For their employers, it is a simple translation: BA = But not Arithmetic. I hire people. If you have a GED. I know that you can read. (You had to read to take test). I might hire you. If you have a HS diploma.I do not even assume that you know how to read but I will interview you and still might hire you. If you have a BA. I assume that you know how to 'party'! I do not care if you can read or not. I will NOT hire you or even waste my time with an interview. Are all employers like me? NO! But the number of the ones that agree with me increases every year. (The recent converts are the ones that hired people with "degrees" in gender studies and art appreciation.)
