The goods/services that the small business was producing still have a customer base. As they say 'Let Somebody Else Build That', they will find thousands of people currently unemployed jump in with "yes! an opprtunity! AT LAST" and start their own small business to take the place of the one where someone retired. (and, new entrepreneurs don't have to worry about health insurance when they do it)

Are there all these wannabe "entrepreneurs" with hundreds of thousand in savings and/or 800 credit scores just unable to jump in now because the mean evil conservatives are monopolizing it? What kind of fees, regulations, and other roadblocks are waiting...probably the market will just go unserved!

So far, the message of the Obama campaign essentially seems to be, "I'm unable to effectively govern because Republicans won't do everything I want. Re-elect me so I can deliver more of the same. Oh, also Paul Ryan wants to push old people off a cliff while Mitt Romney will give you cancer." That doesn't tell you much about what Obama would try to do in his second term, but given that he appears to be largely indifferent to the law and...
