Ask them to provide a viable alternative to the Biblical hypothesis. Most of them have not thought much past their own prejudices.

The Biblical hypothesis is on even ground with a thousand other creation myths. They all amount to 'it's true because it's what we believe'. In India right now they're having this exact same argument over the Hindu version.
