Individuals like Kirsten Powers and Juan Williams are liberals I find myself disagreeing with a majority of the time. However, they're both stand up people that I feel I could actually have a constructive discussion with, unlike most liberals (politicians, pundits, OR private citizens).

JT, a few years back I sat next to Juan on a flight so we talked for most of two hours. It was before Obama was elected. We talked about politics, where we were both raised and, since I was in uniform, he asked me about a lot of things in the military. He was raised in Harlem by a single mother, as a Jehovah's Witness (pretty sure that was the denomination) which he said drove his more pacifistic leanings. I found him to be a nice, engaging person, and while we disagreed on some things, it was not rancorous, just good conversation.

As you'll recall, I was very skeptical this morning of initial US government assertions that there was "no intelligence" indicating the deadly Benghazi raid was premeditated or planned in advance.  White House Press Secretary Jay Carney repeated this heavily-parsed denial at his briefing today (note that he appears to be reading a verbatim statement), only to give a markedly different answer just 45 minutes later:
