This column is a rerun.
Cleveland may be closer to Purgatory. Detroit is Hell.
* We have a political party dedicated to the idea taking things from people who've worked for it and giving it to people who haven't. Is there a typo here? Should it not say 'parties'?
We can't even control or change the legislative tyrants. What hope is there when we are tyrannized by the judicial tyrants?
Luger voters actively campaigned against Mourdock. The press went apoplectic after he said all life was sacred even those conceived through rape.
Do you not get it? It is not going to be scrapped. Advanced placement, ACT, SAT, curricula, books, teacher's colleges have geared up for it. CC is not going away. They have worked at getting it mainstreamed for decades. It was called New Math in the 70's. It is like Acorn. They never really went away, just morphed into something else, just as bad. Liberals never give up. At least you've got to admire their perseverance.
Common Core lives! Foolish are those who think it went away.

The Problem With The Right Part 2

Can someone explain to me why it is so hard to understand why social issues are not financial issues? Easy divorce>broken families>screwed up kids feeds social services and government education fiscal issues. Black women have 75% or more of their children out of wedlock. Has this not become a fiscal issue? Look at our prisons. Many more illustrations could be given. But Derek's thinking is very short-sighted.
