The planned attacks in Jakarta and Amman are part of a loooooooong string of such efforts, most of which went under-reported because they were nipped in the bud. AQ is alive and well, just a little different than it was when it hit our embassies in Nairobi and Dar in 1998.

By now, everyone with a pulse should be intimately familiar with the tragedy in Benghazi, Libya that resulted in the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.
