As a libertarian, I disagree… 1. Most intelligent folks look at a candidate’s actual track record of governing, and Romney’s is decidedly MODERATE. Of course I do hear about some people who ignore all that and make their decisions based on campaign statements, so… right… 2. See above. 3. Alexander Hamilton, Ulysses S. Grant, Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton… just off the top of my head. 4. Negotiation skills, ability to pick good investments, mastery of economic principles like opportunity cost and supply and demand—these are the exact qualities that our next President needs. 5. And you clearly aren’t a moderate anyway. Only the fruitiest, most committed liberal would call a “slowly improving economy” and “no new wars” a “success.”
Milt37, Don't mind the hicks. Not all of us in the midwest drag our knuckles around. My wife and I really miss California in a few ways: her awesome family in San Luis Obispo, having Fry's and Trader Joe's stores nearby, and the excellent weather. And yet, we love being upper-middle class in Oklahoma on the same income that would be barely above poverty in Cali. Aerospace engineer? It's too bad you couldn't find anything in Houston. Oh well.
