What part of America are you in? Have you ever seen a Hispanic or Latino person? Do you know anything about the roots of such persons. Most Latinos come from Spanish origin, hence the term Spanish-American. While I agree with you that the term Spanish-American is not one that is usually used to depict person of Spanish origin living in the United States (the census bureau uses the term Hispanic and the term Latino has also recently emerged as another word to depict persons of Spanish origin) your post suggests that you either are really, and I mean really, bad at connecting the dots, or you are just a racist who wishes to dismiss an entire class of people that are part of the American fabric--whether you like it or not.

There is no point in spinning -- conservatives need to face honestly what this election means.

A first take: Gov. Mitt Romney tried to win while leaning on only one leg of the old Reagan coalition: jobs, jobs, jobs, economy, economy, economy. Against a president with a poor record on the economy, he lost.

The Mitch Daniels "truce" strategy on social issues is a clear loser in this election. The Reagan coalition, which honestly may not be the pathway to victory moving forward, had three legs: values issues, national defense and economic growth.
