So because "Aproximately (sic) 30% of all fertilized eggs are flushed from the body during menstruation" (no cite provided so I'm taking your word on this) naturally, we should seek to increase this number artificially by encouraging abortion vs. promoting contraception or other means of preventing pregnancy? I guess I missed your other point....are you referring to % of aborted persons that would otherwise not be law abiding citizens? If so, big (and mistaken) assumption as 10% of the population are not murderers....however, by that logic, there could be 40M productive workers in the U.S. paying taxes and we might not be in the financial mess we're in now. Ir we're wishing, one of these could have cured cancer, invented cold fusion, etc

Yeah, I guess you missed the point.

IF you believe they are fully formed human beings, I want to know why you are flushing their bodies down the toilet without so much as a "see ya later."

You know a politician has stepped in it big-time when he feels compelled to produce an ad declaring that "rape is an evil act."

The spot, in which Todd Akin apologizes for using "the wrong words in the wrong way," is part of his penance for saying, in an interview with a St. Louis TV station on Sunday, that "legitimate rape" rarely results in pregnancy because "the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down."

Akin, a six-term Republican congressman from Missouri who is running for the Senate, has backed away from that...
