If I make a moral error (which cannot be made innocently), I will expect and accept punishment. But if someone else makes the error, and the punishment falls upon me, that is the moral FAILING of the being issuing that punishment (if we are talking about an omniscient judge).

But in general, Christianity teaches us not to steal, lie, cheat, murder or commit adultery. It teaches us to show compassion to others and develop our talents ( get a good education, work hard and save and invest your money.) These are all good values which ALL conservatives and everyone else ought to cherish. Even someone who does not believe in God ought to see the advantage in living in a country where most people are Christian. It's a no brainer really. It has so many advantages, but no disadvantages.

I have to admit that when Obama “won” re-election I became more depressed than Madonna’s audience was when they were forced to watch her strip the other night. For God’s sake, Madonna, put some material on that mess, material girl. I guess she’s going to follow Cher’s path and torture us with her exhibitionism ‘til she takes the big dirt nap. Like a virgin?
