Why is anyone surprised? The effect of price-fixing are always the same. The extent to which prices are distorted is the extent of the resulting destruction.
I don't necessarily like Apple or Steve Jobs (I think a number of their business decisions were mistakes), but where they screwed up Microsoft succeeded, so the scales balance as far as I am concerned. But either way, tax avoidance isn't a crime for a reason: there's no way to make it a crime, and there's nothing wrong with it.
