Hey Michael, I'd love that actually. All the liberals who know nothing (and care nothing) about budgets and responsibility and living in the real world can live in their own country with SF or NYC as the capital and enjoy their (perceived) intellectual wealth and worship The Great Barry without interruption. I'd give this arrangement 24 months (at the most) before the liberals would be be knocking at the door asking for money, food, clothing, gas, shelter, etc... all while reminding us how smart and correct they are and how far they have "progressed".

All the wealth in this country not generated by the sale of natural resources and food are generated in the liberal bastions. Wall Street, LA, Boston, Philadelphia. You guys can regress to an agrarian/petrostate economy. Seriously though, I think that's where this is going, the Civil War was never fully resolved and there is no possible compromise any longer, people are just talking past each other, seeing each other as evil.

President Obama's sequester -- he designed it, he demanded it, and it is about to kick in -- will have many consequences, some bad, some very helpful.

On the negative side, Stars & Stripes reports that Department of Defense officials are exploring how to collapse the school week to four days at some schools on military bases that serve the children of our troops.
