Did you feel that way when George W. Bush was elected twice to the presidency? Of course not. When you were in the minority, you severely criticized the majority for supporting policies that you thought were stupid. In other words, now that you're in the majority, you're mocking people for engaging in *exactly* the same behavior that you engaged in when you were in the minority. That makes you a shameless hypocrite.

Actually, it's you who isn't very smart. Liberals LOVE liberal government. That's a given. But when liberal policies lead to social and economic disaster in a particular state -- as they often do -- even liberals will move from that state to another state that has a better social and economic climate. The problem is that sometimes these liberals don't see the connection between their liberal politics and the social and economic problems caused by those policies in the states they left behind. So they bring those *same* misguided politics to the new state, and eventually that new state begins to suffer from the same disastrous effects of liberal politics. And THAT'S why people leave California for conservative states and vote for liberals in those states. Hopefully this is simple and clear enough for even you to understand.

No one's saying that democracy sucks, in an of itself. But *idiocy* definitely *does* suck, and when democracy and idiocy coincide, it can lead to disaster. Do you favor disaster?

Lots of societies have eventually voted themselves out of existence because majorities voted for stupid policies. California is doing that to itself right now. Pointing that out is NOT whining, but wisdom. Apparently, you oppose wisdom.
You're an idiot, for at least 2 reasons: #1, the low-premium, high-deductible, catastrophic coverage that artists are currently getting from their voluntary industry groups will soon be UNAVAILABLE under Ohscrewyoucare. In plain English, the Ohscrewyoucare policy that the artist will now have to purchase will cost him/her MUCH more than his/her current plan. #2, the "if you like your coverage, you'll be able to keep your coverage" promise was ESSENTIAL to the passage of Ohscrewyoucare. It has now been exposed as a HUGE lie, and voters don't like it when their government tells them huge lies.
Sorry if you were offended, but being Christian and opposing abortion isn't enough to participate in Catholic Eucharist. The fact is, BOTH you + Nancy Pelosi should be denied communion in Catholic churches. The Church's disgraceful failure to excommunicate Ms. Pelosi doesn't give non-Catholics any independent right to participate in its sacraments.
I was really excited at first, because I thought the headline read: "Obama's Campaign Team Comes Out to DEFUND the IRS" Now THAT would have been a "change I could believe in"!
Number Six: What do you want? Number Two: Information. Number Six: You won't get it. Number Two: By hook or by crook, we will. Number Six: Who are you? Number Two: The new Number Two. Number Six: Who is Number One? Number Two: You are Number Six. Number Six: I am not a number! I am a free man! Number Two: [laughs]

Too bad you've managed to misspell a 3-letter word.
