Any cell phone will call 911 for free. One Obongo supporter had 30 of the things. This is a $1.6 billion program that needs to be ended.

I had a homeless guy who lived in the woods near my shop. I would give him $10 and hour to pull weeds around the shop. I once notice 3 cell phones on chargers on my work bench. Turns out they belong to the homeless guy. Not only has 1, but 3 free phones. Doesn't pull weeds for me anymore.
Senator Tom Coburn released the Wastebook 2012 today detailing the 100 most egregious wastes of taxpayer money. The two hundred page report details waste in all manner of federal spending - from multi-billion dollar programs all the way down to a $300 grant to a small-town library for a Star Wars-themed event.
