Thank you for that analogous quote. Just as the bible deals with human nature and so is as relevant today as it was when written, I feel our constitution is as relevant as the day it was conceived. Our Constitution deals with the greed & envy of people and attempts to put checks & balances in place to thwart exactly what is going on & has been going on for quite some time. Studying the Constitution should be mandatory in our public schools so our children know why this is an exceptional country & know when our elected traitors our straying from their appointed responsibilities. That produces a government OF, BY & FOR THE PEOPLE.

James R. - NEWT IS THE BIGGEST RINO! This election is all about HIM not the country. He is a very clever POLITICIAN--first and foremost. He tarnished himself by acting on his own selfish instincts in the 1990's. He cleaned up his act, made "history films", married his mistress, repackaged himself, and is now back in the race. No doubt, he is smooth but beware, he is in this for himself, not the country.

lbs... All Newt's Contract with America was him rewriting the Constitution because he couldn't force himself to support and defend it. Newt is a self-serving fraud.

Oh please, get off the Newt bandwagon. That man is a very-studied chameleon. He was the author of the "Contract with America". He couldn't force himself to support and defend the Constitution (the only contract with America) so he rewrote the rules. If you want to witness a real Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde, just elect Gingrich. He knows lots about history, I have one of his tapes, but he is for what serves him best not the country, even though he talks a good story. Don't be deceived.

Yes, Oprah is shilling for this Marxist (i.e. accompany him to win Olympics for Chicago) but so is the media . How much did Katie Couric rake in? Something like $15 million before they realized it was money wasted. Then they cut her wages to what, half. Boohoo, she is only making $8 million now. And what about Ann Curry and Matt Lower(than a snake's belly)? Yes, so much for a free press. Let's start an "Occupy Hollywood" movement or an "Occupy Media or NFL" Let's start an "Occupy Tenured Liberal Educators".

My personal feelings on Newt are: he is a career politician who was on furlough. As far as the "Contract with America" that was so successful, he already had a contract with America. Its called the Constitution! When he was Speaker, why didn't he recognize how the original "Contract" was being violated. Enough with career politicians who's first love is themselves. Restore, then support and defend THE CONSTITUTION!
