Homosexual couples can get married in all 50 states in any private secular or religious ceremony. That is their basic, fundamental right guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution. They have been doing it for at least the last couple of decades. And with the Lawrence v. Texas ruling, they have no legal impediments to engage in sodomy. There is no tyranny from governmnent over homosexuals with regard to marriage. Homosexuals want the government and society to endorse their deviant sexual relationships through civil marriage. They want us all to agree to capitulate to their intellectual and moral corruption. That is why homosexuals are welcomed and find a home with the Democrat party.

I guess the states will have to give driver's licenses to blind people. Also, people with mental illnesses will have the same 2nd amendment rights to buy guns as anyone else.

The government is not imposing any sort of tyranny over homosexuals with regard to marriage. Homosexuals couples aren't being denied basic, natural rights guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution. This is a lie propagated by ignorant individuals such as du2, inagy, JustMC, and intellectually and morally corrupt judges. It is actually the case that pro-homosexual marriage activists want the government to grant homosexuals the same privileges that are granted to heterosexual couples based on the premise that deviant sexual behavior, which is based on a psychiatric disorder, is due equal status with normal sexual behavior.

Also, infertility is caused, at least in most cases, by a physical defect of the sexual organs. This is the exception, not the rule. Homosexual couples, as a law of nature defined by physiology, can never procreate. So, for heterosexual couples, procreation is their own private business. For homosexual couples, it is a public impossibility.

To du2, JustMC, and inagy: You prove that liberalism is all about feelings, and not about intelligent thought, reasoning, logic, or morality. I am glad that du2 agrees (according to your posts) that homosexuality is a disorder. You fail to realize that psychatric disorders such as bi-polar disorder and autism are reasons for special restrictions and denial of certain privileges that government grants to persons without these disabilities.

Inagy, none of the sources you give have discovered a "homosexual" gene. They merely postulate that genetics may be one determing factor in a range of factors that determine sexual orientation. These studies have already been analyzed and shown to be, at best, only misleading and deceitful suppositions. inagy, please cite the study that identifies a "homosexual" gene. I expected your inablility to understand a logical interpretation of human physiology. Can you tell me why homosexual females ovulate and menstruate? And, why do homosexual males produce sperm cells and ejaculate during orgasm?

Also, as I have stated before on this website, to grant the same rights to homosexual couples as those granted to heterosexual couples, through civil marriage, would be a de facto endorsement and promotion, by the government and society, of deviant, unnatural, and unhealthy sexual behavior.
