I suggest that there should not be a two-state solution ! The solution is one man one vote as in South Africa. Clearly this is the only workable model . The country of Israel will need to evolve into a multicultural and multireligious state which will be open to immigration from third world countries . Of course the nuclear weapons will have to be removed from this state. Oh before I forget, this state will have to implement affirmative action laws to make up for past discrimination against the Palestinians and of course there will have to be hate speech laws enacted to protect the Palestinians from any opinions that they deem offensive.
It was no accident that Israel was President Obama’s first foreign visit in his second term. He had something to prove to the people of the Jewish state, and he appears to have succeeded.
