On election day 2012 gas averaged $3.49/gallon. The highest average price in US history was $4.11 in July 2011. The last time gas was $1.03/gallon (1/4 of $4.11) was in May 1999 (Barack Obama was a state senator in Illinois). Even adjusted for inflation, the average price of gasoline has NEVER quadupled (1919-2011). Why bother reading the rest of Ms. Coulter's drivel?
