Color me cynical
The concern I have for us is that we make sure not to cocoon ourselves in our own conservative world. As painful as it is, it is worth going to HuffPo and DailyKos. Hey - at least they are honest about where they are coming from, as opposed to the NBCs, CBSs and ABCs of the world who seem to think they're unbiased. But when there, or on Facebook (yes, I know it's painful) or any other social space where we're exposed to folks of different political idealogy (and they're exposed to us), it's incumbent on us to speak our truth respectfully, while making a bit of a mockery of the other side's hyperbole and untruths. btw... a lecture on bipartisanship would go way over Reid's head. He needs a lecture on being a respectable human being.
See? Here we are quoting facts from the 'Congressional Quarterly' and the WP. Yes, that means a lot to you and me. However, facts didn't win us much in the last election. Reid doesn't care about facts, obviously. Neither does Pelosi or Obama and his entire team. Can we not play this game, too, somehow? Remember how much of a cultural joke we made of Reid when he said: "Word on the street is Mitt hasn't paid taxes", turning it into: "Word on the street Reid is a (insert derogeratory description here)". Or, Obama's "You didn't build that" into: "Yes, I built this". We should focus on facts, yes. Present truth, yes. Yet I think we can still turn the cultural jokes around on these fools because I think overall we're smarter.
That IS weird, Lois, since the Federal Election Commission has already fined the Democrat Party $1M just this year for voter fraud. And they've fined the Republican Party... how much, Lois?

Or we could simply call the oceans racist. That just about covers all of our ills, no?

Romnus Magnificus will carry the torch from Ronaldus Maximus. Today is a happy day.
I think there's a lot of truth to that. Also, I think the Dems and the Ministry of Truth have a vested interest in getting the leftist sheep out to vote for the downticket, so they WANT it to appear close. I don't think anyone - not even Nate Silver - is convinced at this point.
"Or"??? Don't you mean "AND"?
Simplecaveman: "Climate change" is a political opportunity for liberals to FLEECE OUR WALLETS and attempt to control our daily lives even further. FIFY
"Ask Germaine" This has got to be a put on. No one is so ridiculously partisan that they'd say things like you've said about blacks and whites. No one thinks so little of black people as to believe a storm would affect them in ways others are not affected. Snap out of it, Germaine. Wake up.
