Because that is bad theory! It doesn't matter who uses it or where it came from it's bad. Don't you see the problems we are in? Also I think Alan Greenspan was part of the problem.

Dennis, I've heard you on the radio before and you were talking about God. So you probably would say that you sould honor God in everything you do? So would you apply that to who you vote for? So if a conserative Christian who would be against abortion, was running against a pro- death atheist republican, would you still just close your eyes and vote republican?

I say No Way! If a liberal dresses-up in the republican red is he still liberal? Bush was not the only republican pushing big government, most of them were! As our deer President said the car went into the ditch, however they all had their hands on the wheel. As who to vote for, look at California's govenor, I did not vote for him because he is too liberal even though he is republican, I voted American Independent, in my vote I am saying I line up more with this person. Everyone said you are wasting your vote, you need to vote for the repubican party even though they didn't like him either. Now look at us now! Which party do they blame? Now look at Bush, he spent like a democrate, as well as most of the other republicans in congress. ...

Who's Legislating Morality Now?

Jon632 Wrote: Nov 20, 2009 6:12 PM
Everyone has morals, your morals are what you think is good or bad. If you do not agree with one who says "this is good or that is bad" you might say "his morals are bad." If we think it is bad to kill someone, we will make laws to protect people, like speed limits or drinking and driving. Laws are not to made to change your morals, you might think it's fine to kill someone, laws show the morality of the government, which in our country is the people. Now, how do we know what is good or bad? Like it or not the majority of people are religious, and in this country they're Christian and the Bible is our authority. How do you know what's right or wrong (moral) and where does it come from? Good article Andrew!

Churches Gone Wild

Everyone has morals, what they think is right, and our laws refect this, good and bad. Because someone is against murder, rape, theift, abortion, or even homosexuallity, does not make them religious. Most religious people say these acts are wrong, sins, not good for our society. This is not hateful, all it says is this act is wrong. Also, to say I was born that way does not justify it, everyone can say I was born to sin, that is why we have laws. The laws of this nation were based on Christian morals, the U.S. Supreme Court declared this in 1892 in it's Trinity decision. Check it out, and have a Good day!
