Actually, it happened in this order: 1.) The claim is made that Anthropogenic Global Warming is threatening our immediate (or our children's) future. 2.) Skeptics voice dissenting views and present data suggesting otherwise. 3.) The term "Global Warming" is abandoned in favor of "Climate Change." "Anthropogenic" appears far less often in debates. 5.) The pejorative term "Denier" appears just as often; but, now incorrectly to accuse debaters of denying "Climate Change."

“We are winning the war,” was a phrase I heard repeatedly this week. Congressman Sensenbrenner, Vice Chair of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, said: “We won on these issues because we were right.”

Which war?
