ooohh. It's a big conspiracy contrived by the Koch brothers to get a black conservative elected. yeah, right. You probably think 9/11 was perpetrated by the US govt. too. BTW - Cain's plan for the impoverished has not been shared yet. His plan includes empowerment zones to alleviate the burden on the poor.
Buggy 999 plan? Just because the plan has been attacked and misrepresented by the left-leaning Tax Policy Center doesn't make it buggy. It is not a VAT. It does not raise taxes on 84% of Americans. It is revenue neutral. It does completely scrap the god-awful mess we currently have in our federal tax code. It does return power back to the people by preventing politicians from using the tax code for buying votes and social engineering scams. The tax code should be solely for raising revenue for the government. The 999 and ultimately the Fair Tax would eliminate taxes being used for other purposes other than revenue generation. Guy, I suggest you read what Art Laffer and Paul Ryan have to say about the plan and stop repeating lies.

You need to drop this childish rant and agree to disagree. Used to have some respect for your opinion Mr. Adams. You just lost a regular reader.
What do TV stations sell? Advertising, right? Part of the formula in determing how much to charge for advertising is taxes. Yes, China makes TV's. GE and other companies contract Chinese companies to make their product for them due to cheaper labor. Yet, when the price for that TV is set, taxes are factored into the price. It's that easy. Again, CORPORATIONS DO NOT PAY TAXES, THEY COLLECT TAXES.
P - you need a refresher on proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. You come off as an ignorant dufus.
Nope, a Paulista more like it. Everytime I see someone blabber "he was with the Federal Reserve" crap, I know right away I am dealing with a Ron Paul supporter.
It is amazing that so few understand the fact that corporations do not pay taxes, they collect them. Any tax levied on a corporation is passed on to the consumer in the price of goods and services offered by that corporation. Anyone who has ever operated a business knows this is a fact. It's called a business plan. When arriving at the target price for your widget or service, you factor in taxes to arrive at the selling price. Taxes go up, price goes up. So who ends up paying? The consumer.
Check your facts. Herman Cain was a mathematician in the Navy.

How'd that work out for OBAMA? "I will close Gitmo"...ehh, maybe not such a great idea after all. "I will reverse the Bush policies on the War on Terror"...oops, they are actually good policies that work. Cain is not going to stand up there and feed us a line of BS like the rest of the politicians. He will tell it like it is which is that he is not going to commit to a specific plan without knowing all the details necessary to formulate a plan. What he does need to do is explain how he would apply principles and values to his decision making process. I respect Mr. Cain a lot more than the rest of these bozos due to the fact he will talk straight to the matter and tell you when he doesn't know the right answer. His approach to...
Taxing corporations is not the solution. Corporations don't pay taxes, they collect them. A tax on a corporation is an indirect tax on consumers. Raise the taxes, businesses recoup the loss by raising prices. Of course, most don't understand this fact and use the "evil" corporations as a scapegoat for why our country is on the path to bankruptcy.
