Jesica Santillan was a 17 year old immigrant that had 2 heart-lung transplants. She had 2 because Duke Medical Center put the wrong blood type set into her. 2 weeks later they tried to reverse their error. She died a few days after the second transplant. Much of her expenses came from a charity called Jésica's Hope Chest that was set up by a native Texan who had started a home building business near Raleigh. The article said they had moved here from Mexico 3 years ago and called them immigrants. The word “illegal” wasn’t mentioned. She died in 2003.

The key point in this story is that there are 2 sides to the story. It also shows that both sides have to be listened to before you can have an informed opinion. It's almost as if you were considered innocent until proven guilty! Did everyone catch that? But what about people who self medicate? Are they still just drug addicts? Good one ann. You are saying that it would be easier and cheaper to get insurance after you lose your job. And even though you developed diabetes when you had insurance, and now you after you lost your job you can’t get insurance for one simple reason. The same reason you open your mouth to spew trash.
