It just doesn't matter because at the end of the day 46-47% of the people wouldn't even look up if a foreign power stormed the USA and took over. They would just want to know if they were going to get their free stuff.

Oh God, how true this is. The remake of Red Dawn isn't a great movie but there's one priceless scene where the North Korean/Russian occupiers tell the people they will be grateful to them because they rid us of corrupt Wall Street capitalists and politicians. Exactly Obama and OWS messages the last year!
