Coulter: Republicans Should Cave on Tax Hikes Because "We Lost the Election"

There is a simple solution: Flip the situation. Pass a bill making ALL the Bush tax rates permanent, but add a 4 year rate hike on the rich that raises the rates to Clinton era rates. Then in 4 years, all republicans have to do is stonewall to get low taxes for everyone instead of being derided as "holding the middle class hostage" for the sake of the rich. Also the bill needs some pretty stiff entitlement reform because tax hikes aren't going to put a dent in our deficit.

There is a simple solution: CUT TAXES and SPENDING!!!

That's exactly what the Republican governors have done, and those Republican states are now operating in the black, and most have budget surpluses.

LAU, the problem is the senate and the Obama wont go, and public opinon is behind them. As moe said last night on a thread, we want socialism, we need to pay for it.

umm, you LOST the election. wake the f**k up.

Hannity to Coulter: "You sound like Obama." Fightin' words:

SH: So are you saying that, for PR purposes, that they should give in to Obama on the tax rate?
AC: Not exactly, I--Well, yeah, I guess I am.
SH: You're saying capitulate to Obama? We don't have a revenue problem, Ann.
AC: We lost the election, Sean.

Hannity seems genuinely flummoxed by Coulter's capitulatory attitude, but does she have a point?  Recent polling has been gruesome...
