Does this surprise anyone? The problem is too much money available to our schools and lack of accountability. When the Feds and liberals get involved, it always rots.

The problem isn't "too much money available to schools" (but that is a problem). The problem is that government is running the schools, and the employees work for the government, instead of the parents and students. The solution is to get government out of the education business. Then the free market will work, driving down the cost and vastly improving the quality. I wouldn't be surprised that we can get a better education for about 20% of the cost.
