According to a recent USA Today/Gallup poll, Americans under the age of 30 favor President Barack Obama over Mitt Romney by almost a two-to-one margin. This is a startling statistic. What explains the lopsided support for President Obama among younger Americans?

I just had a conversation with an 18 year old who told me he was voting for Obama because his teacher told the entire class they should. His teacher went over point by point why Obama is a good president.
I tried to talk to this young man and clear up every wrong idea his teacher had 'fed' the class. He went away looking confused. I have no idea is I got through to him or not.
The liberal indoctrination he had recieved at public school was deeply ingrained.
