I'm not so sure but we'll have to see. If Romney is another big government conservative. If he doesn't cut significantly and doesn't sweep away massive amounts of regulations, we'll have to get rid of him. But we cannot return to the democrats. We'll need a third party to pull both establishment parties back toward freedom under the rule of law. The libertarians have a lot right, but not everything,;we'll need a constitutional party with a specific platform of returning to constitutional government. Libertarian economics come from that, they do not drive it.

I reviewed the Constitution Party platform and it looks good enough to me.

My greatest fear is based on history. Republicans get a moderate elected, nothing much changes, then the democrats put up an Obama redux. We are then left with the the republican battle plan of electing the lesser of evils after that. "Anybody but the Obama redux!".

Doesn't appeal to me.

President Obama tanked in the last debate. Good.

Now maybe people will listen when Mitt Romney says things like, "The genius of America is the free enterprise system, and freedom, and the fact that people can go out there and start a business. ... The private market and individual responsibility always work best."

They do.

But then Romney responded to Obama by essentially saying: I want big government, too!
