Right on all points. You can't win a culture war unless you produce culture. You can win over minorities unless you paint a very clear picture of why things are tough for them. You can't win Latinos by vilifying them. First understand what is going on, why income is being concentrated among a narrow elite, who by the way support liberals. After understanding then craft a message. We can't win by taking polls then crafting a message. We must start at the grass roots. We don't need all minorities, just a much larger chunk. Immigrants for instance are more entrepreneurial than most of the rest of us. Those tiny entrepreneurs have extended families. Just win them a few at a time over the next four years.

I’m not much of a whiner, nor am I someone who makes predictions. I’d hoped for a Romney victory, though more for an Obama defeat. But that, when you think about it, was the problem. While there’s no doubt Romney would’ve been a much better President than the current occupant of that office, when people are presented with a choice between the vague they know and a vague they don’t know, they will pick what they know.
