Have you ever stopped for a moment to consider how you and your fellow travelers sound? All you ever want is to take what is rightfully mine and redistribute it to favored political classes. And the way your frame your arguments to sound like recycled soviet slogans. Well, here are a few more that you can add to your repertoire: Identify and criticize the 1% class enemy! Extend solar electrification! Increase production of tiny clown cars! Sheesh.
VP is right. Nobody needs to "shriek" anything, the facts about illegals are inconvenient for the racial grievance left.

Are Scientists Becoming the New Priests?

One minor but laughable irony here is that scientists as a class are far less convinced that they have policy answers than are their erstwhile supporters on the left. The strongest fetish for Science™ is held not by scientists, but by armchair leftists who took the greatest pains to avoid coursework with any scientific rigor during their undergraduate years. They're mostly second-rate state college sociology and racial grievance majors, if ejjimikated at all. The cringe one feels when reading some of these bleats betrays one demonstrable truth: Passive exposure to CSPI press releases, AlterNet and TED is no substitute for a rigorous scientific education.
Somewhat less than 50% of all Americans pay for the left's grand dreams. They tend not to be leftist. The left's goal is to increase leftist power in the US, and it can't do that at the ballot box. It does so by swelling the ranks of the dependency class with reliable permanent left voters. The remaining productive people are stuck with the bill. Our republican establishment betters are afraid of the left and they clothe their support of this invasion in moral-sounding but empty rhetoric. That rhetoric is a fog that causes the rest of us to doubt whether we are acting morally in resisting. In fact, we have the moral high ground here. It just takes courage to stand up and say things that will be characterized as mean and backward.
Thought experiment for you - try hard just this once: Imagine the hue and cry from your fellow travelers if a compliant entertainment industry stepped up to remind the little people about an incumbent and seriously threatened republican president's past glorious exploits? And on the eve of the elections? We'd never hear the end of "propaganda," "fairness," "equal time," Leni Riefenstahl-this and Josef Goebbels-that. But it's always different for the whiny Left, isn't it?
So true, but this element knows nothing of that reality. So much more interesting to focus on the "cool resolve" of the soft effeminate cossetted punk-in-chief sitting in an air-conditioned bunker directing our very best people halfway around the world by remote control.
Nothing like a compliant media-industrial complex to rewrite the narrative. But I rather doubt he'll get a bounce out of this unless the producers have him personally fly the helicopter into the compound, jump out bare-chested, rocking a minigun, reading OBL his Miranda rights, and personally fighting a protracted mixed martial arts battle which ends in a death struggle for Mr. Obama's sidearm, the accidental discharge of which prematurely ends Mr. OBL's empty existence. Scene ends with crane shot, sudden hard rain, Obama on his knees, looking up yelling "WhyyyyjQuery152017365052990247654_1312765099272?" Actually, probably not all that far-fetched. Ewww.
And when it's Republicans saying it, you realize that we have elected a generation of morons who cling to the delusion that the former illegals will be grateful and re-elect them. Anyone so stupid as to believe that should be primaried out ASAP.
The immigration system is not "broken," it is being disregarded by the bottom rungs of a failed civilization to the south and their enablers in the US government. I expect this nonsense from leftists, but it's downright offensive when endorsed by Republicans, as it was by Bush, et al, Graham, and the other bright lights of the Republicans. When it comes to the poorest of the poor from Mexico and Central America, representatives of the bottom rungs of a failed, corrupt civilization, there seems to be no end to efforts to recruit and enable them to participate in our society. Yet, enforcement is quite active and effective against entry (both legal and illegal) by many with useful skills, social values and work ethic, if they come from...

"The born-again, dry-drunk War Criminal George W Bush is in violation of the United Nations Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment" Congratulations, comrade! You've captured the essence of 1960s issues of Granma and Chinese cultural revolution posters. Venceremos, man. Let us promote animal husbandry in the provinces and ensure the victory of Juche thought to crush the Bush oligarchy!
