Having written a recent opinion column about this topic, I enjoyed reading your take on the matter. Your fact-checking was a bit disturbing, though.

More than three Africans have received the Nobel Prize for Peace. In addition to the ones you cited, the list includes Kofi Annan (Ghana) in 2001, Anwar Sadat (Egypt) in 1978, and Albert Lutuli (S. Africa) in 1960.

The list of Asian recipients is much longer than the three you mentioned. Asian recipients include Kim Dae-June (S. Korea) 2000, Carolos Filipi Belu and Jose Ramos Horta (E. Timor) 1996, Aung San Suu Kyi (Burma) 1991, the Dalai Lama (Tibet) 1889, Mother Teresa (India) 1979, Eisaku Sato (Japan) 1974, and Le Duc Tho (N. Vietnam) 1973. ...
