Gentle Readers, Off topic, but.. ... The TEA Party proposes an alternative economic strategy based on our historical experience in which reductions in TAX RATES in the Kennedy, Reagan and GW Bush Administrations led to increased TAX REVENUES long term by increasing the rates of economic growth and job creation. The TEA PARTY wants the affluent to pay more taxes. Our historical experience has been the best way to achieve that objective is to reduce TAX RATES and broaden the TAX BASE by simplifying the tax code. Sincerely, John Lepant
Following Hurricane Sandy’s massive devastation across the northeast, many were quick to tie it to “climate change” (you know, what “global warming” and the “new ice age” used to be.). In a blog post on Tuesday, former Vice President Al Gore wrote “Hurricane Sandy is a disturbing sign of things to come. We must heed this warning and act quickly to solve the climate crisis.
