I believe that you are ignoring the fact that Clinton cut military spending to nearly nothing in order to balance the budget. This left our country in a bad position to show strength and probably lead to the 911 attacks. Reagan had to do the same thing because Carter cut military spending as well. Both presidents had to revamp the military at a tremendous cost. However, this did create private sector jobs and spur the economy. Further, those government reports you attached are junk. Do you really think they understand sound economic principles? All of the Democrats think that raising taxes (corporate has the greater impact) will pay for all of that income redistribution?
