I think the "bumper sticker" difference in world views between Progressive Humanists and Christians is this: Progressives believe "Prosperity Begets Righteousness", while Christians believe that "Righteousness Begets Prosperity". I think that, in a nutshell explains why Progressive believe their "compassionate" intentions will lead to charitable outcomes despite all evidence to the contrary.

The Tea Party has quickly matured from it's infancy to adolescence - just wait until they reach "adulthood" in the political world! If it was not such a powerful phenomenon, the Dems and the GOP would not both be so petulant while they cower and wait to see what will happen.

While the Democrats shuffle, squirm, and lie, Tea Party candidates know exactly for what they stand, and stand for it - the Constitution ... But, I try to maintain self control so that a civil society is maintained, children are protected, the spread of disease is precluded, and I can find a similar chick with a "hetero gene", fall in love, stay together and produce the next generation.
