Rather amazing lack of insight for a homosexual to be angry with God or the church because his free will choices brought utter disaster to his life. Many of us are concerned about homosexual behavior and sexual promiscuity in general because of the innate dangers involved in these activities. We see the pain and misery brought about by such behavior and would very much like to see it end. Why is it OK to openly protest smoking or drinking because of health risks, but not OK to do the same when it comes to sexual promiscuity? So God is to blame or the church is to blame when one engages in activity that is not sanctioned by them?

Great to see that Ann reads G. K. Chesterton. No wonder her logic is so clear. Logic seems so rare in this world especially among so called reporters. For example; Why do atheists care whether someone prays or not? If they are correct and there is no God, then it doesn't matter whether one prays or doesn't pray. It is all pointless. If they are wrong, then it really does matter - not that someone else is praying, but that they are not praying.

When the Holy Spirit speaks to us, it is good that we listen and respond. But don't let this get you down. You'll do better next time.

Carl Jung stated that in his entire career he only treated one practicing Catholic (in an area that was predominately Catholic). So there is some truth to your piece. Jung didn't say how many non-practicing Catholics that he had treated, probably a lot.

Keep up the great work and keep your powder dry.
