They did, they just didn't want to hear them since they would interfere with their goal.

Not "all" lawmakers voted for it. There wasn't a single Republican vote cast for it.
Dumb and Dumber. Absolutely clueless.

Little do they know this will probably end Obamacare.

I hope you realize there wasn't a single Republican vote cast for this atrocity.

Don't ask for a super-size in New York. If they didn't want you to have it thatey'd just make sure no one could sell it. So, "Do you want Broccoli with your Big Mac?"

Actually, no. Roberts did put one thing over on the Left and that was to limit ANY possibility of any further use of the Commerce Clause in the matter.

Then why did the House vote to have Holder held in contempt? Remember, you're dealing with the Executive Branch when you refer to Holder. The bad thing is his Justice Department refuses to prosecute him. Maybe the answer is to have the whole department held in Contempt. That way and independent prosocutor could be hired and a grand jury could be impaneled to solve the matter.

I don't think you see the big picture here. As it goes on, the support the law has now will go away and the next president can ask the Congress to flush it and start over.

It comes down to giving your tax money away to the beggers so they'll get reelected.

Roberts probably did the country the biggest favor by calling it a tax and then making it legal. This gives the House and Senate the power to remove "all" of the taxes in the law, and the president to sign the new bill. The funny thing is the Left still hasn't figured this out. People are so upset with the Democrats right now for shoving this garbage down their throats, I'd predict the Republicans will retain the House, retake the Senate AND the White House. Maybe then we can get to some serious discusiions on how to get a cheaper, consumer driven system, and get rid of this huge bureaucratic nightmare.
