Before the election my sister and I were at odds over Obama. We had many spirited debates over what he would do if elected. She believed his rhetoric that he would be bi-partisan, a unifier and fiscally conservative, while I pointed to his record of accomplishments (virtually none), voting record as a politician (extreme far left), and part associations (Reverent Wright, Bill Ayers, etc.). Since the election I’ve resisted temptation of saying “I told you so” virtually on weekly, if not a daily basis. I didn’t have to. As to suggested topics, I would like to see shows about the following subjects:
Taxes, their history, how other societies have used (abused them) and the impact of them on society (revenue, social engineering, etc.).
Deficits,
Local governments: How they behave, good and bad.
Balanced reporting in broadcasting.
Integrity in government: Saying and doing the right thing.
Hypocrisy in government, society and personal life.
Gerrymandering: history and consequences.
Education issues: what works and what doesn’t.
Presidential advisors: history and present day. ...
