Feel better now mike? this column is a VERY lame attempt at consoling yourself after the landslide victory of PRESIDENT OBAMA. Luke warm is how I would describe the entire romney campaign. the right didn't want him, the Christians didn't want him, fox news didn't want him and he knew it. although great, Willard's hubris didn't take him very far. Certainly not anywhere near the white house.

50+ is not a landslide. And when you figure a couple cities (Phila., Cleveland) won the election, the "landslide" was really a machine engineered joke, except the joke is on the entire nation that will suffer for the result.

And considering you as a serious and not trolling idjit--what do you think a zero election will get the US? Prosperity? No. You cannot bankrupt yourself into prosperity? No. More jobs? No. More sources of energy? No. Greater leadership in the world? No. More security? No.

So what positive objectives will the left deliver?: Punishing the wealthy who worked for their success is not a national policy.

You moron - there was no 'landslide'.
Lukewarm. That's the feeling I get from the election numbers.

Turnout was apparently down, at least as a percentage of eligible voters. The president was re-elected by a reduced margin. The challenger didn't inspire the turnout surge he needed.

Every re-elected president since Andrew Jackson has won with an increased popular vote percentage. Barack Obama didn't. He won 53 percent to 46 percent in 2008. His numbers as I write are 50 percent to 48 percent over Mitt Romney. That could go up to 51 percent to 48 percent when California finishes its count, which took five weeks in 2008.

Obama owes most...
