They can water it down until it's meaningless. The First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech, right? Well now they have "hate speech." Say the wrong thing and you've got you really don't have freedom of speech anymore.

SCOTUS can take a case where they rule the individual right to bear arms doesn't apply; then another; now you have precedent. It can happen.....

I don't believe we have hate speech laws yet. At least not like you see in the UK and Canada to mention a few countries that do have them. Not that I disagree with your statement it's self.
