What is Islam?

How convenient for you to draw specific conclusions based on vague generalities, all based on your personal imagination. You don't know what the heck you're talking about.

Wow what an arrogant ignoramus you are. Until you have ACTUALLY READ the texts which you so blindly criticize, you don't know what the heck you're talking about. If you actually read the Bible, it would change your life for the better. If you actually read the Koran, it would make you puke. Test it for yourself before you shoot off your childish mouth.

Wow, way to perform delicate surgery with a sledgehammer. Where to begin? To say that the hundreds of years of history of Islam is not violent is to ignore history, especially considering that Mohammed himself launched Islam through conquest and murder. To say that the Koran does not promote violence, and to quote one verse as proof of its equivocal nature, is to advertize the fact that you have never read the Koran to see for yourself that the overall tenor and context is radical. We Christians are used to having people misquote the Bible to us by people who have never read more than one verse, and now that same tactic is being used to justify a peaceful version of Islam? What a crock. Stop quoting "experts", shut up until you've done your homework for yourself. Denying the existence of the "moderate Muslim" does not empower terrorists, believing in the unsupported fantasy of it does. If these phantom "moderate Muslims" want respect as true moderates, then like the Bahai and Druze, they'd change the name of their religion to distinguish them from the eternal cult of violence known as Islam.

Chevy Volt Heads for Fiery Crash

It's the Edsel all over again. GM chose to hype the electric plug-in side of the equation, which only screams short range, high price, and low versatility. Meanwhile the car is a decent, gasoline-electric hybrid, with the added bonus of being able to be plugged in. GM chose to downplay that angle, oblivious to the fact that hybrids enjoy the public's respect for their versatility and economy. Stupid. I have no sympathy. If they want to incur the public's wrath for kowtowing to the Obama/Solyndra/green energy propaganda, they deserve the debacle they created.
We need to talk more about the most significant reason for abortion: consequence-free sex. Although it is an inescapable truth that abortion kills babies, that doesn't mean the typical aborter's motive is murder; murder is just the collateral damage; the real motive is sexual unaccountability. Abortion is the last chance to escape parenthood when all other birth control methods failed (or weren't used), therefore it is an essential element of the birth control universe. And despite the fact that there is nothing wrong with non-abortive contraception in and of itself, birth control is what enables sex outside marriage to feel consequence-free. Period. So when we oppose abortion, we are opposing sexual immorality, and that's what makes our sexually immoral population angry. The issue is fundamentally about the immorality of sexual promiscuity more than the immorality of murder.

Yes. HELLO, what is the crisis?
WELL SAID. This is how Democrats always operate. They woo the Republicans into their nonsense, and all the while it's a betrayal.
Thank you, Mr. Lewis, for your participation in the civil rights movement in the 1960s. But you are pretending this is still that era, as if the very changes you fought for and achieved never happened. To you, the problems are perpetual, so that you can be a perpetual hero. You are deliberately blind to the modern reality that the problems don't exist anymore. Nobody believes your theatrical, incendiary rhetoric. GO AWAY.

Sex and the Military

Did you read the article, genius? As inexcusable as rape is, the best way to prevent it is to STOP CREATING AN ENVIRONMENT FOR IT. Stop pretending the military is identical to civilian life. The function of the military is to win wars; anything that interferes with that doesn't belong, PERIOD.

The complications of women in combat are too numerous to mention, and obvious to anyone who cares about reality. The liberal agenda to use the military as a social justice pawn is just as insidious as their customary disdain for all things rational. Even to discuss this issue is to admit you have taken the bait of arguing with a fool. The only appropriate response is to mock the proponents, and parade all the politicians who have been enslaved their sexual appetites, starting with BILL CLINTON.
What do you expect from liberal leadership? From the top down, there is no conscience. This deserves to be investigated to prove how shallow and immoral Obama is.
